Who Do You Think You Are?

A lot of press has been given to the upcoming new show "Who Do You Think You Are?" with Lisa Kudro. In each episode of the new reality series, well known people from entertainment and sports are given the opportunity to take a trip through their family tree and, at times, find things they never would have expected in their family's past.

Some of us have skeletons in our past, some of us have family trees that are embarrasing. Some of us have shame not delight, generational curses, dysfunction, etc. But sometimes we look into our lineage and find treasure-- real inheritance with a value beyond comprehension!

Who Do YOU Think You Are? When we accept Christ as Lord, the Bible says we become new -- we are born again into a new family-- with a new family tree. We become "joint-heirs" to Christ! We become part of God's family. We are "grafted" in to the tree of Israel-- the Root of David-- our Lord Jesus.

To many this is horrifying or glossed over! Does this make us all Jewish or does this mean the blessings promised to Abraham- prosperity, long-life, large families impacting nations-- can be ours? Yes, we have them, but many never claim them. Someone back along the way exchanged our true "birthright" for a bowl of beans! Just like in the story of Jacob and Esau-- wow!

Sadly, so much of our true family heritage has been lost due to renegade church teaching. As we celebrate the upcoming "Resurrection Season" -- even the name-- Easter--bastardizes the very nature of God's love and the richness of the final Passover-- our Lord Jesus. So much of our family tree has been lost-- our true heritage and true history -- true blessing- just like in our U.S. history has been damaged and lost due to revisionists!

Our Bible was written by Hebrews! The First Family of Christianity- Mary, Joseph and Jesus was Jewish. Our Messiah was Jewish-- "oiyveh"! So much of our Bible is difficult to understand because of old church pet doctrines. So many feel that anything left of Matthew is no longer needed. However, Jesus as God revealed Himself in every detail of the Torah-- Genesis, Exodous, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy. When he walked this earth-- Jesus restated, reclaimed and restored us by His death on the cross to the blessing of Abraham. His name, His Trinity and His purpose for our life was revealed from the beginning in the most minute detail.

Take a journey there-- reclaim your true birthright and heritage today. See His Word -- See Him-- Live His Word-- reclaim your birthright and know who you are.

Maranatha!
